25000 online plays

The online version of Jacky Bomb has now been played more than
25000 times. More than 4200 scores have been submitted, fighting for the
Top 100 high score list.
Last version of Jacky Bomb download replaced

Unfortunately the 1.01 version of Jacky Bomb the download game
contains a rather nasty bug. There is no mouse control in the submit score
frame. That means you can't submit a score in this version. Version 1.02
has therefore been released. Get it at the Play
page.
Jacky Bomb online and download updated

Both versions of the Jacky Bomb game has been updated with some
interface changes. The gameplay remains unchanged. The amount of scores
that can be seen in-game has been changed from 50 to 100. So now you can
see all the scores (as has been the case on the website Hiscores page).
Jacky Bomb in Retro Gamer magazine

A while back, in February 2005, Jacky Bomb appeared on the coverdisc
of the Retro Gamer magazine. The game was also inside the magazine. You
can see it at the new section: Articles.
Jacky Bomb exceeds 10000 plays online

The online version of Jacky Bomb has now been played more than
10000 times. The amount of submitted scores is over 3200.
Jacky Bomb reaches 5000 plays online

Jacky Bomb has now been played 5000 times through this and the VCade site.
Almost 1300 scores have been submitted.
Jacky Bomb online 1.2 released

TechVision has released a new version of the online Jacky Bomb game. As
the update before it nothing is gameplay related. The scores and everything
else is untouched. The reason for the update was a focus problem. When
you launched the game you could scroll the content window (due to a browser
related problem there is a margin at the top and bottom of the game).
Now there is a screen where you have to click with the mouse button to
continue. This should hopefully make it a bit easier for people who could
not understand what was going on. Lastly the default "Jump Type"
is now "Dynamic". In each session the new version will also
remember what "Jump Type" you have selected, and won't revert
back to default when you return to the main menu. Go to Play
to try out the new version.

Daily Click. The game is also to be found at Clickisland,
although it will not stay on the site if noone reviews it. The news post
from the 25th of January makes a notion of Jacky Bomb download over at
remakes.org. More
to come. To make sure that the game will be available the Play
page now has mirrors of the two download files.Finally, a couple of days
ago the online version was played 2500 times.
Jacky Bomb download out now!

TechVision has released the download version of Jacky Bomb. The differece
is you'll be able to play the game in fullscreen (in the options menu
you can change it to windowed mode if necessary). You'll be able to reconfigure
the keys, or play the game using a gamepad. Go to the Play
page to download your copy now.The online version will be updated to version
1.2. The changes in the online version is only interface (so was 1.1)
changes. Nothing that alters the gameplay.

version. More about the differences of the online and dowload version
will appear on this page on thursday, when the game is released.Jacky

Jacky Bomb was featured on the remakes.org
website. The site is as the name suggest dedicated to remakes of retro
games of yesteryear.Jacky Bomb has now been played at V-Cade and from
the Jacky Bomb website more than 1500 times.Development of the download
version is going ahead as planned. The game is now being tested, so a
release should not be too far away.
New online version of Jacky Bomb

Due to a faster score submitting and retrieving code Jacky Bomb
online has been updated to version 1.1. The game now also displays scores
1-50 (before it was scores 1-20), which is also planned for the coming
download version of the game. The game has been a major succes, with a
1000+ plays within two weeks of being launched.
