CoLoRs NEXT documentation

This file contains some info about the game you have downloaded, CoLoRs NEXT. The CoLoRs NEXT installer file contains three files. This one, (colorsnextdoc.htm) the game (CoLoRs NEXT.exe) and a driver required to play the game (cncs232.dll). If you experience any problems check out the homepage FAQ, or write to TechVision (please follow this link).

Version history

Version 1.2: 1 May 2005
- Changed the domain name of the TechVision homepage

Version 1.1: 15 June 2004
- Corrected a bug on level 11 and 12 in III CoLoRs mode
- Changed the high score list from 10 to 15
- Made some graphical changes to some of the menu frames
- Changed the keylayout so you now only have to press "M" and "S" to toggle on/off music and samples (because pressing control, as you had to before, was the default shooting button)
- Changed the position of the "Controller Rings" so that they are closer to the main action, making it easier to see what color you should shoot the white rings with

  • Internet connection required for submitting high scores
  • Cncs232.dll

    This game uses the following driver: cncs232.dll. It's included in the installer file. If you damage it just download it again from the TechVision homepage

    Controlling CoLoRs NEXT:

    By Keys By joypad/joystick
    Shift = Change color
    Ctrl= Shoot
    Arrow Keys= Move Triangle
    Button 1= Change color
    Button 2= Shoot
    "+"= Move Triangle

    C = Control setup
    P = Pause
    A
    = About the game
    Esc
    = Pressing escape in one of the levels gives you the opportunity to go back to title screen, or continue play
    Alt+Enter = Toggle windowed/fullscreen mode
    F2 = Start new game
    M = Toggle stop/play all music
    S
    = Toggle stop/play all waves
