CoLoRs documentation

This file contains some info about the game you have downloaded, CoLoRs. The CoLoRs installer file contains three files. This one, (colorsdoc.htm) the game (CoLoRs.exe) and a driver required to play the game (cncs232.dll). If you experience any problems check out the homepage FAQ, or write to TechVision (please follow the this link).

Version history

Version 1.4: 1 May 2005
- Changed the domain name of the TechVision homepage

Version 1.3: 27 December 2003
- Added an online high score board
- To make it more interesting a Perfect Bonus feature has been added. If you make no errors in a level you'll be given 20 bonus points
- You can now toggle between windowed and fullscreen mode
- The action when you press escape at the menu screen, has been corrected so you won't jump right into a game after selecting "No" in the "End game message" popup
- Fixed the blocks positioning

Version 1.2: 1 August 2002
- The game is now in fullscreen
- The game includes the new TechVision domain
- Fixed the escape problem, so now it's possible to exit from in-game to the menu pressing escape (you have to confirm so you won't accidentally do it by chance)
- New TechVision logo.

- Joypad/joystick support
- Improved interface
- Added sound effects
- Corrected some bugs (some places there were two blocks in one place, which meant you would lose a hitpoint for the wrong reasons)
- Possible to view high scores from title menu

  • 2Mb free hard drive space
  • A two button joypad is recommended
  • Internet connection required for submitting high scores
  • Cncs232.dll

    This game uses the following driver: cncs232.dll. It's included in the installer file. If you damage it just download it again from the TechVision homepage

    Controlling CoLoRs:

    Shift = Change color
    Ctrl= Shoot
    Arrow Keys= Move Triangle
    Button 1= Change color
    Button 2= Shoot
    "+"= Move Triangle

    C = Control setup
    P = Pause
    A
    = About the game
    Esc
    = Pressing escape in one of the levels gives you the opportunity to go back to title screen, or continue play
    Alt+Enter = Toggle windowed/fullscreen mode
    F2 = Start new game
    Ctrl+M = Toggle stop/play all music
    Ctrl+S
    = Toggle stop/play all waves
